lyrics from the traditional song "The Blackest Crow". author unknown.

about

The tenor of voice, as it interacts with the warm tone of the Wurlitzer Music Learning Module, vibrates the body in a specific way. I have found deep calm and brief suspension of time within it - these two pieces are documents of that reflective space. My invitation, my curious hope, is that other bodies might respond in similar ways. (Headphones are the best bet.)

'I Will Not Cave' is a mantra of sorts, a digging in of the heels, an affirmation. 'Overtones' uses lyrics from an old fiddle tune that first entered my life almost 20 years ago, the author of which is unknown, with some of the verses first appearing in the soldier's journals during the Civil War.

Thanks for listening.
